Lexapro question?

Who here takes the med, for what, how much, how long, side effects, and how

Hi Carl~

I take 10 mgs. of Lexapro every night for anxiety. I've been on it (this
time) since last September. The side effects are weight gain... which I'm
so disappointed about, but I am *happy* and I wouldn't change how I feel for
the world!! I like my life, I love my job and I'm single by choice, so I am
alone.... but not lonely at all!! Life IS good for me and I know that the
Lexapro is helping!!

i take a low dose (5 mg.) for dysthymia and anxiety. no side effects
any more, and it has been very helpful to me.

Oh Carl,
Still so many questions.
I take Lexapro but only for one more day.
I have been taking it for depression. I have just tapered down from 70 mg.
Biggest side effect was somnulence. Suited me.
I have taken it since early 2005.
It is time for a change. It was good for me but has pooped out. Starting
Cymbalta.
