Still trying to work out if I am depressed, stressed or both.
Had last week off work. Have this week off too.
I thought I had better go to the doctor to get my blood pressure checked.
Just as well I did it was 200/110. (120/80 is more like what it should be.)
I feel really stressed and shake sometimes with anxiety. Cry for no reason,
don't sleep well and feel crook.
Work is a bullying enviroment so I want to stay away from there. Also got
divorced 5 years back. That stuffed me around more than I would like to
admitt.
What I was wondering is what is the difference between stress and depression
and what are the best treatments?

maybe it don't matter "what it is, it just is what it is." maybe the
focus should be on how ta kinda fix it, but i'm not'ah doctor. (i
gotta say that cuz so many people think i'm'ah damn genius shrink.

i kinda reckon that that part means that yer bp was a lil high on the
one end, believe you me, mine's been much higher, mine's panic, tho.
THAT much i've figgered out, and they'll figger it out, too, most
likely... you might even ta ta stay in'ah psych ward and that shit
ROCKS ! (ok... you don't gotta, but i love it, but i'm real weird.)

you could consider a new job or even career change. it's very
exciting to take on new stuff that careers are made of, i swear.

about.... $225.00 an hour.

only evaluation will tell ya that for sure, but any doctor can toss
meds at ya, i'd personally, opt for anxiety meds, benzos,
perferable... but i'm a benzo advodate, i believe they cure what ails
ya. they're cheap, and you can become dependant real quick... but who
cares. would ya rather be dependant or miserable.

The doc has a checklist of questions and you can give answers and he
can tell you

I had what they call "white coat" blood pressure at around 180/110,
but my doctor kept telling me to come back and I was too young for
blood pressure meds. Finally I was in my pdoc's office and he told me
in order to give me an rx to help my compusilve activity problems, he
had to take my blood pressure. He put on the thingie on my arm, and
left it there. Then we just talked for a while, and all of a sudden
he sneaked up and did it in like 10 seconds... it was 133/92. Anyway,
now I take an antihypertensive call Tenex, and it not only slows my
fsat heart beat, but it also makes me more calm. I feel lucky I have
gotten doctors that know their shit.

Still going back and forth the the doctor. Blood pressure is getting better.
140/100. This is normal for me. Still want to get it down some more. Have
another 5 weeks off work to do the whole counseling thing.
