Default Relax and listen to a good book

Audio Pod, Audio Book Subscription Service
No CDs or Files To Manage, Just Drag ... Drop ... Play

This is a web based service and social space that along with down
loadable software programs manages audio book libraries and bookmarks.
The Audio Book Subscription Service works on both PCs and cheap
'doesn't matter if a car rolls over it' mp3 players. The service is
currently in beta test and will be free for the next couple of months
as we build up our inventory of books, historical speeches, essays and
poems.

So put the child down for their nap, select a good historical romance,
find a nice comfy chair close your eyes and relax.

And of course we also have a good selection of children's books and
the system is easy enough that a four year old can use, so 'you' don't
have to listen the the “Three Little Pigs” over and over and over.....

It's been fairly obvious to some of us older folk (::Philip: that the
children don't seem to be learning to read or write. A sentence is something a
judge hands out; it's not something that a teacher teaches.

You no what I'm talking about over their in the U of K (University of Kentucky,
famous for their jellies), write?

Hi Giggzmania!!

Good to "see" you again. My "youngin" isn't quite so young anymore. Well,
not in her mind anyway ;-)
She's currently waiting for results from tests for coeliac disease but is
coping really well as always. In all honesty, she coped with the tests
better than I did! To watch your child being put under anaesthetic is
horrible!

How are you keeping these days?

Love from Caz

I'm an avid reader. I belong to 5 book clubs and frequent my city library.
But, know what? I have no desire to listen to audio books; it just doesn't
inspire me to try it; I like to soak what I read into my own mind; and it
seems to have more reality. Nanny

Helllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!! to you too :-)

Yes, I do indeed have a TEENAGER. To be honest, she is an absolute darling.
She is my little friend as well as my daughter.

It's good to see that you're still so upbeat regardless of the pain!
I'll update you on Alice's results after the 22nd.

Love from
Caz

is the weekend? So glad you're around....

Our xxth hi skewl reunion was last fall. I didn't go (I'd been to Chicago
several times last summer and didn't want to wear out my welcome (nor drag
Janet through what has to be a totally boring bitch for 'outsiders.' - but the
pictures were put on on a web site, I was sent pictures by friends, and was
given all the deep dark secret details by others.

You can ride your bike to your reunion, so it's not a big deal

Have a good time, Philip. I've been to 'earlier' reunions from our hi skewl
graduation class (at a time when the graduation rate was around 95%) and it's
just great to see the people that you want to see but had grown apart from
(mainly in distance).

Now I guess hi skewl graduation classes (in most major US cities, anyhow) can
just rent a hotel room

None of us can be upbeat all the time Giggzmania. We all have our "off"
days. To be honest, I've had a few days of doom and gloom. You know those
days when you want to just go to bed all day and hide from the world? I
couldn't even tell you why. I just felt on the verge of tears most of the
day. Everything was an effort.
Yesterday, I went out on the garden and it helped a lot. Today, I'm baking
:-) Chocolate cake here I come!!

> i will anxiously await alice's results :-) just a few more days!

I think I'm more concerned than Alice. She just seems to accept life as it
comes. I need to take some lessons from her!

> love ya, cazmania!

Stop it!! You'll have people gossiping about us ;-)

It's great to be in touch again my friend.

Love from Caz

so sorry, hun! :-( those days really suck. i kind of feel like that
TODAY, as a matter of fact. so what i will do is take my dog for a
walk, and marinate some steaks for the grill tonight. that should
help. i'm glad you were able to get out in the garden. that is THE
best therapy ever. and chocolate cake? COME TO MOMMA!!!!!!! :-P
yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
