Default St. John's Wort and insomnia

I took 2 caps (2x300mg) of St. John's Wort on sunday morning and it's
been 3 days now and haven't had a good night sleep since. I keep
waking up throughout the night and can't get more than a few hours of
sleep. On the upside ,I did feel more energetic and less anxious but
maybe it was just a placebo effect because from what I hear, it isn't
supposed to work so fast. It was just the 2 caps and I haven't taken
anymore. I need my sleep and my back is feeling pretty sore from all
the tossing and turning. How much longer do you think this will last?

Thanks

Shawn

Try melatonin at night just one capsule.
It will help you sleep and raise your seratonin levels at the same time.

Is melatonin a perscription drug or a supplement?

In the US it's available OTC but here in Europe you need a prescription.
It's a drug IMO (it's a good sleeping aid).
