Default Stop Blushing - Hypnotherapy and Hypnotherapy For Curing Blushing

Fear of Blushing Many people seek help to stop blushing. Some want to
quit the blush problem because it is embarrassing and can be a source
of anxiety. Other anti-blush proponents want to quell feelings of
fear. The fear of flushing red is very real and there are treatments
that can help.
Erythrophobia
Erythrophobia is a fear of blushing responses. The term comes from the
Greek terms "ethryos" and "phobos" put together to literally mean "red
fear". The feelings of fear and anxiety when you blush may be
overwhelming. You may avoid social situations and interactions in
order to circumvent any possible flushing episode. The fear is
debilitating in many instances and when you find that you are unable
to do things and participate in social situations because of your
fear, you may have phobic response to consider. The anticipation makes

Irrational Thoughts
Phobias are irrational by their nature. You may realize on a conscious
level that your thoughts and fears are uncalled for but you just can't
control them. This very frustrating situation may lead to more
instances that make you blush. Your own thought processes feed into
the automatic response, making it seemingly impossible to stop
blushing. You may want to avoid being the center of attention because
of your tendency to flush red and this can lead to obsessive thoughts
about your condition. The thinking process you are used to actually
feeds the problem rather than helping you work through it. You can't
stop blushing because you think that you can't. As you picture
yourself in social situations, you begin to think about flushing red.
This feeds into your fear, kicking in the automatic physical responses
that create the blush in the first place. The cycle persists as your
fear and anxiety mounts.
Stop Blushing in the Mind
The mind is a vast, wonderful resource that can help you work through
nearly any situation. You have the ability to address your fear of
turning red through relaxation and visualization. Common interventions
that are very promising include neuro-linguistic programming and
hypnotherapy. These approaches are effective because they help your
mind program itself to send different messages to the nervous system.
You can replace feelings of anxiousness and fear with calm confidence
through the subconscious mind. This, in turn, helps your body create
new physical responses to situations.
Physical Responses
Even though you want to stop blushing, your natural physical responses
offer the opposite, making your condition worse. You may think that
the responses that make you blush are beyond your control but they are
not. You can address your redness problem through the subconscious
mind. Your physical responses are natural reactions to your fear and
anxiety. You can change the way your body responds by changing the way
you think and feel about social interactions and other blush-provoking
incidents. Your mind is the ultimate source of the problem and it is
the key to help you stop blushing.
