Headaches, insomnia, etc.....

3 days is not long enough to tell the effectiveness of ssri's you need at
least 2 months to be really sure....

Thats what i experienced anyway..

Hang in and those bad side effects should pass pretty quickly now....

Do the negative side effects go away ? Libido most importantly ?

I find it odd that suddenly 10% of people are on pills at the same
time when divorce rate is skyrocketing, loneliness, cancer , obesity
and depression are epidemic, suburban sprawl continues unabated, wage
and wealth inequality is greater than since the Gilded Age of the
late19th early 20th centuries ? etc... etc...

Is it people who have a problem or is society breaking down ? Not
working for individuals anymore ?

extreme tiredness and loss of libido are the only side effects that remained
for me after 4-6 days either side of changing dose...but they do effect
everyone differently...

society is people, they are the same thing....

I think the drives behind capitalism are to blame...technological innovation
is the biggest problem...

As soon as you can send an email over the other side of the earth in 2
seconds, people expect it...there's no excuse for taking a week right?
Things speed up, expectation rises....

Also its far less anxiety producing to talk to someone via a computer than
you next door neihbour....so people do it....lookup social needs theory...

But having said that my guess is people have always had loneliness, had
cancer, depression and a myriad of other problems we don't have now....those
are not new things...Television would like us to believe that (it makes a
good story)....but look on the bright side....we got it far better now than
100years ago in many respects...we just don't think we have....

Television is a big problem also...it produces nothing but high
expectations....people that get selected to be on tv are most often a far
better physical and mental speciman than the average, shown in their prime,
doing stuff they've obsessivly trained for over years....the reality is that
no one can be like that...all the time...

that depends on the person, of course. SSRIs put me smack in
seratonin syndrome which is not only a skrait shot to psychosis, it
can be fatal. i think it can kill ya, as well. so with bipolarity
and panic disorder on my resume, more seratonin is tha LAST thing i
need. your resume's probly way dif'rent than mine. your side effects
are based on your chemical make-up, mine are based on mine, and tha
beat goes on.

only 10%? where'd ya get that statistic? it kinda stands ta reason,
tho, that if people are on pills, they're on 'em at tha same time.

sounds like'ah few dang good reasons ta be on pills, ya reckon? yer
post is kinda confusing. are ya sayin' that with all the angst goin'
on in the world, that we should be focusing on these events instead of
pills? what does divorce, loneliness, cancer, etc., have to do with
pills? help me out here, i'm not tha sharpest knife in tha gunrack.

is WHAT people who have a problem? society's obviously breakin' down,
i don't get the connection your're eluding to, though.

> Not working for individuals anymore

huh? what does not working for individuals mean in your world? i
s'pose people work for whoever they wanna work for, i'm not sure what
kinda job would dictate working for an individual.... one person. i
work for an individual. ME ! people have worked for me for about 22
years, so i guess they worked for an individual, but i was a
corporation, so technically, they worked for the corporation and no
me, as an individual. most individuals that employee others are
incorporated. it ain't this ain't "Green Acres"... where Eb worked
for Mr. Douglas, an individual.

you dang sure lost me on that post.

maybe it's just me.
