xanax

I have PTSD/Depresson. No other meds work but xanax. Is it possible to
take xanax for the rest of your life? I been on it for 5 years and I'm
worrying if I will be forced off it.

You can take Xanax forever but not all doctors know it ;-) So it depends
on the doc.
How about therapy, meaning *Cognitive Behavioral Therapy*, the first
choice therapy for these disorders?

I was on it for 24 years. I'm no longer taking it now, and I'm fine as frog
hair. I do take trazedone, seroquel, lithium and lexapro.

I have been taking Xanax since 1995. It works for my anxiety. I also take an
anti-depressant.

Thanks everyone for the replies, my doc has decided to keep me on it
since its working so well. Horses for courses I guess.
