Xmas anxiety

Dysfunctional family gatherings. Shame, shyness, how do you guys
deal ?

Either take the benzos in large quantity (can't drink anymore) or take
your own car and get ready to make an early exit ?

An extra benzo, if needed. I have 4 extra 1 mg. Xanax with me, and I
haven't taken one extra yet. It's always a good idea (well for me, anyway)
to have my car with me at all times. If you do need to leave early, I'm
sure your family would understand. If they don't, too bad. Leave if you
get uncomfortable!!

i wouldn't go at all if it caused me that much stress. obviously,
they don't deserve your presence. take your own car, with a backpack
of benzos. don't let them shame YOU. they are not worthy!

I went, thank God for nieces and nephews, Guitar Hero and board games
is all i can say.

sounds like you pulled it off! way to go :-) i'm glad you made it
