Default Adding another to my list

Well, it looks like I have asthma, too, now. Cough cough cough. They tried
Advair and I got the worst charley horses in both legs! So he changed me to
Flovent. So far no cramps, but it has only been one day, so keep your
fingers crossed. (Silent scream echoing through the halls). Guess what - I
watered the lawn this morning - no rain on the forecast. It just finished
watering and I just heard it thunder!

We're only allowed 3 so you'll have to give something back.

Hang in there, DeeTee

Every time something else is added to my list, I just go into denial
mode. I really don't suggest this for you, but it does work in my case
so I don't get overwhelmed. After a while I will go back to it when
I've calmed down.

I thought that there was a special this month! Shoot. Unfortunately, it
was on sale - no returns! LOL

Sorry to hear you have added the asthma to your collection. Definitely
not something you want to add if you don't have to.

Is flovent the only inhaler they gave you? No albuterol??? The
flovent is a fairly potent steroid inhaler, but they usually give you
abuterol as at least a rescue inhaler.

Hope you just have a mild case and it doesn't become too bothersome for
you!!!

I tried Advair and got the most awful leg and foot cramps. Right now, it's
mostly coughing, seldom breathing problems. The Flovent seems to be
working. Hopefully, it won't get to the stage where I need a rescue
inhaler.

I reacted to the Flovent, too - got tingly feet and legs. The doctor
said she wanted to try a taper dose of Prednisone. I was told back in
1990 when I had Cryptococcus not to ever take Prednisone by mouth. I
said I was willing to try the short taper dose. Other than a slight
headache, I have not had any other side effects. The cough does seem
to be improving - so it looks like it might not be asthma, but just a
stubborn cough left over from the pneumonia. Here's hoping.

Navy, sure hope it is a leftover cough and that you will very soon be rid of
it.

It could still be asthma. They have me on a 20 mg dose of pred for life.
Well that is till this lung function dr says he believes the other dr that
said I had to be on it for life.
