Any Updates on Diane W????

Anyone have an update on Diane? Praying for her everyday...

I just phoned ICU and found out she is alert and would know she was
receiving flowers (although real ones and balloons are not allowed. The
nurse told me that fake ones - silk or flowers would be okay. Seems to me a
better idea might be a card slam! If all of us were to send cards - well
maybe if she is alert that might be a great sign.

So what does everyone think? I am out tonight but will check my emails
before i go and again in the morning. I am going to send one right away to
her address at the hospital. Send me an email if you want the address of the
hospital or send an email to Gloria (hope that is okay Gloria.) We will
know if you are spammers or not that way and won't be releasing the
information onto the net. Cheerful bright cards.

Maybe this is a great sign!

She's better! She's improved and is alert! I talked to her nurse today and
the news was very encouraging!!!!!!!!! ASA prayer machine at it's best!
Send those cards to her as Kelly has suggested, she'll be happy to get them!

So glad you called! I was too disheartened to call today till I got your
email and read this post! Then, I couldn't wait to call! Her nurse said her
condition has been updated to STABLE! And that she is very alert, all her
vitals are normal! Thanks to everyone who joined in the prayer machine. Now
lets see how many cards we can get to her. Email Kelly or me for the
address. My main email addy is glorias@tds.net I'll check this one too.

Thank goodness - I was so afraid I had read the nurse wrong! Please
disregard my email personally to you Gloria. I just knew this group could
do it - if I had thought she was giving up the fight I wouldn't blame her
and would have wished her a painfree passing. However I never have picked
that up - she has been so hopeful lately. And things were improving slowly
over the past year.

So Diane - when you are reading this later - we didn't give up on you! Way
to go!

Ok, this is getting a bit spooky. I have two special candle holders and kept
candles going in them for her as long as I was home and awake yesterday.
Around late afternoon I got the sense that it was ok and I didn't need to
keep it going constantly. I did anyway, but didn't worry as deeply - though
I was fearful about which way it became "ok". Now I won't feel guilty about
not getting new candles going as soon as I got home, which is good ass I
arrived home to find out a family from our church had just lost their home to
fire this afternoon. That kinda diverted my focus.
