Are vibrating pads ever harmful?

My wife just had hip surgery and her doctor told her NOT to sit on a gentle vibrating pad. She wanted to help her circulation in her leg which she has done in the past. Why no vibrating pad???

Sounds like a good idea to me and it is a good question for the doctor.

What kind of 'pad' are we talking about here? My worry would be
addiction and her not wanting to get up and move around after surgery
hehe

The doctor may want her to get up and walk and exercise her hip and leg.

Sitting on a vibrating pad is a lazy person's way around easing the tension
and pain from surgery.
