    Default Chocolate (never OTP)

    Greetings,

Here's something that the wind blew into my inbox!

    Happy chocolatizing!
    (#1 Pennsylvania Chocolaholic!) LOL

Includes: Give Your Blood Pressure This Daily Treat

Just 30 calories per day of chocolate may be enough to help reduce
your blood pressure. As far as serving sizes go, that's about a
    Hershey's Kiss worth.

    Crazy for Cocoa

More Good Reasons to Eat Chocolate
As if you need them . . . 3 more great reasons to indulge:

Getting 31 milligrams of flavonoids a day -- like those found in
chocolate -- can make your RealAge 3.2 years younger.

not true, or if it is it doesn't work for me. I eat about a half a 3 oz dixy
cup of choc. chips a day to keep my blood sugars up when I need to and it
doesn't do a thing for my blood pressure even with two bp meds either.

It works that way for normal people, Squish. Even tho' I'm mostly
abnormal, my PCP said I had to drop choc. snacks because I was dropping my
BP too low. He can actuially tell if I had some b4 showing up at an appt.
    lol
I get to drink an extra cup of coffee daily as a replacement because I
actually need the excess caffeine (which choc. has, also...go figure).
Chocolate can help you, especially, because of the theophylline-like
activity to help your COPD - so keep eating it to aid your breathing. I
wish I could have choc. more than just rarely. <pout>

I had some chocolate every night and boy did it mess up my COPD; I wheezed
and coughed for days! So I stay away from (wahhh) anything chocolate. It's
hard but easier just to say no to anything chocolate than to figure out if I
    have had too much.

well the idea Rosie, is to wipe the choc. off your face before you go in.
    ;0)

well now I have many reasons to eat choc. to keep blood sugars up, even that
sometimes doesn't help, to be able to breathe, to help migraines, and now to
lower bp if only it would work for that on me. ;0)

I hear ya! I'm that way about ice cream. I love the stuff but with my milk
allergy I can only have it a couple of times a year. I've tried pushing the
limits in the past but being so stuffed up you feel like you slept in ragweed
    was a serious deterrent.

I leave tomorrow to visit my sister in Florida and I know the heat there will
make me really want some! Argh! Hmmmm, there will be much less ragweed
blooming..... maybe just a small bowl will be ok.........

Have a wonderful visit nann regardless of the reasons you are going. I just
wish they had all the stomach problems solved although it sounds like
    reasons might be coming clear.

As to the ice cream - play it safe. Not worth it right now! Not on
    holidays.

    The less ragweed it good

There is a dairy free ice cream available that is delicious. It is a little
more expensive than the standard stuff, but it is worth it when there's no
stuffed nose, etc. Do check it out. It comes in pints and quarts. Krogers
    usually has a good selection.
