I've only gotten to talk to Mom briefly for the past few days. Her
spirits are good, but she tires very easily, which is to be expected.
I haven't had a conversation with her that lasted past three
minutes.

She has had a full day today. She was able to both eat
something and take a shower. Yesterday she was able to walk down the
hall and back. If this keeps up, she might be home as soon as this
weekend!
The doctors haven't told Dad yet about the follow up chemo. Dad & I
have been doing some research about Ovarian Cancer online and have
some suppositions. She'll likely be on chemotherapy for 6 - 12
months, and the side effects will be unpleasant. Exhaustion, nausea,
hair loss, etc. But it's better to get it all and be sure. We really
don't want this recurring.

Mom says "thank you" for all the support. She's had lots of visitors,
calls and of course the good wishes from here. Dad said she fell
asleep twice reading them, but that she really appreciated them.
Thank you all!
