How are you doing - has it cooled down any? Hopefully you are feeling much
better!

I can't believe how good I feel this weekend. I am not sure if it is the
rituxan or the diaretic - I do feel quite good. Overdid it today though so
headed to bed.

Did you get your envelope?? I had to guess at the postage but it should
have gotten to you by now. Hope it isn't on the way back to me.

Take care,
kelly

Yay, Kelly!!!! LOVE, love, love hearing that you are feeling good for
a change!!!

You just made my night!

Don't overdo and get yourself feeling poor, just enjoy the good
feelings.

I am doing ok. The breathing is doing much better now that we have
gotten a few days break in the weather. The last 3 days have been
simply gorgeous----very low humidity, temps in the mid 70's, and a nice
breeze. At night it has actually gotten a bit chilly, but it feel
good!

Unfortunately, it is supposed to get very hot and humid again starting
tomorrow! Uggggh. Hopefully as I taper down on the pred, my breathing
will stay stable!

The neck is feeling much better too.

Yes, I did get your package! I think I got it around the 6th or 7th.
I posted a note to you about it in your thread titled "back".

I LOVE the book, it is hilarious!!! Thank you so much!!!

Hugs and keep feeling good!!!

I am so glad you liked the book - it is a little gloomy if you take it the
wrong way and don't look at the pictures. I find it makes me laugh and does
give me lots of hope. I just love the pictures though - they make my day!

I did overdo it yesterday - but figure by tomorrow i will bounce back. Just
a tiny bit more energy I think - always hard to tell though. The water
pills have helped my ankles though which means I am moving better. It
really is too early for the rituxan I know but I will take any feelings I
can.

The break for you breathing is good - we all need a break. Glad to heal you
are healing from the biopsy too - in actual fact not doing it under sedation
probably allowed you to bounce back a bit but is tough on the system. Being
on the prednisone doesn't help either I know. Just do that taper really
slowly - really slowly as you know. Especially with the hot and humid
things.

Anyhow have to finish Pat's bookkeeping so must get my act together. his
billing was suppose to be done on Friday (yeah right but he isn't home until
tonight so I figured it wouldn't hurt to delay it!)

Take care, thinking of you and hoping the cool weather continues for a bit.

Kellly,

It actually didn't end up getting real hot today, and I am soooo
thankful for that, as I woke up feeling not so good. Saw my pcp this
afternoon, and of course, have a nasty ear infection going on in my
right ear. Also have two raw areas in my nose from where the tips of
the oxygen canulas rest in my nasal passages. Uggggh, it is quite
painful, but I am hopeful that the antibiotics will kick in quickly. He
is going to see me either the end of this week or on monday of next week
just to make sure things are going in the direction they should, as
infections are one of the things that will make my lungs flare big time.
He wants to keep a close eye on things, especially since I am in the
process of tapering down the pred and since I just got out of the
hospital. I really do have a great team of doctors who truly go above
and beyond!

I LOVE the pictures in the book, they are just too funny!!!

Anyways, keep feeling good and be kind to yourself and your body!

OK, I'm headed to take something to ease the ear pain and then going to
lay down for a bit.

Hugs,

Donna

Donna.

Take care and prayers coming your way that the ear infection doesn't lead to
the lung issues again. You take real good care of yourself.

ah, gee - it's supposed to stay fairly nice a few miles north - hottest day
this week supposed to be 80, cool nights only a bit of rain. Come on up if
you want! We *may* have to take the blanket off the bed. I can't quite
believe we've been needing it along with the "summer" comforter in the middle
of July!

Stay in a/c tomorrow and be gentle to your body. And keep breathing!
