Read this article on the writers personal experience taking a form of
meditation class at UMass Med Center. Thought it, and the results, to be
very interesting. Have ordered some of the program and will give it a try.
Will keep you posted as to how it goes for me. Am hopeful of results. Not
trying to be goofy here, but this has had me curious for a long time. Years
ago when I was having a lot of stress trouble my gastro guy sent me for
biofeedback training which was suprisingly effective. I don't do it much
anymore, but still can to a point. Am a bit out of practice. Was mostly for
physical relaxation forced by a mental process. Perhaps the mental
relaxation is what I need as much. If pain control is a benefit to this, I'm
all for it. I find myself gradually increasing meds to obtain those
results. So wish me luck and I hope to report positive results.
