Iowa floods/storms..MamaChar?

Has anybody heard from Mama Char since all hell broke loose in Iowa?

No,,,, we have not.... An update would be soooo good. A stop of the cold
blasts from Canada would be so good. All we can do is pray for those that
are part of it and hope for the best. The flooding is going to be a test
for us all.

Just talked to her yesterday on phone. She is hanging in there.

She said they are high and dry. But hubbies work is wet.

She said puter is down and they have no money to fix it so that is why she
hasn't been here on the group.

She also said she was in the hospital for 12 days. She had congestive heart
failure. They drained off 70 lbs of water. We almost lost her that time.

She was asking about everyone here. She sends good thoughts to all.
She also misses being here.

Thanks, SJ, for letting us know. She sure has had a struggle with that
congestive heart failure stuff for quite some time now. Wish she could
catch a break!
