Default otp: my daughter

Dear Friends,

I just received the date that my daughter goes to Art school-Oct 1. I
know that this is later than most graduating seniors but I can't help
but feel an AARgh!

I'm losing my baby!

She was accepted into her choice for art schools while she was still
in 10th grade. But the school starts four times a year and she was
assigned to Oct of this year.

This will be in Oregon or 2500 miles away! I know she has lots of
family near and that has to count for something!

I'm happy for her!

Thanks for listening,

Vickie B.

LOL My "baby" is 28, but well do I remember the first time each of my kids
left. It is gut wrenching and heart wrenching and a proud moment and a scary
moment and..... Hang in there, Vickie, you can get through this.

I guess its different when the grandkids finally move out. The week my
oldest grandson spent moving to his first apartment I seemed to alternate
between grinning and giggling.

It 'was' funny. He was just eighteen, and so young and really didn't have a
clue what he was doing. I just loved the optimism of it all. And he did
make it work, with a few bumps along the way.

and your kids are further away then mine.
