| | | otp: prayers please Dear Friends,
My husband just received the news that his father has passed. Dad was
92 and had been in the hospital since Tuesday. They never located a
problem just that he was in severe pain.
He was a gentle and caring man. He pastored churches over the SW US,
worked at the Post Office, and did many odd jobs to support his family
of six kids.
He had a beautiful voice-high tenor, eloquent in speech, and gentle in
manners.
Being Thanksgiving weekend this is hard, but the family had another
death less than a week ago- a child's spouse.
My husband will be flying out with a nearby sister for the funeral next
week. So please pray for the family, the flight, and me. I wished
that I was going not for the funeral but for my husband:->
Thank you!

Vickie, I'm so sorry. It's hard not to be with your husband during this
time, but he'll be a phone call away and with the people who share his
love of his father.

He sounds like an interesting man, and one that would be good to know. I'm
