Default OTP: A show for the ladies

I hesitate to say the following because the blue ribbons will complain
that I am treating men like so many pieces of meat but there is a
serious purpose in it.

The other day I was looking at the website of one of the PCa orgs and
saw that one of its sponsors is a company called 2(x)ist. They make
"cutting edge" underwear for men according to their website (hope they
don't mean that literally).

I had found out about this brand because around the time of J's surgery

I was in Filene's shopping for undies for him and I came upon these
"boxer briefs" and I thought they might work for him. I love regular
boxer shorts because dear old dad wore them but spouse won't put them
on so I thought this was a suitable compromise. He thought they were
comfy and they looked really good. They were more expensive than
fruit-of-the-loom or hanes but they were of a much better quality.

Anyway, I am just bowled over by the thought that you can support PCa
research just by wearing underwear!! That brand, of course. I followed

the link to the company's website and watched a "fashion show" of
their "collection" and I must tell you that I am not into this sort of
thing at all but I had never before seen such a display of male
pulchritude. Abs, gluts, pecs, lats, biceps, triceps, hamstrings, you
name it. My temp. shot up to around 108. And the underwear was
great-looking too.

I once read that you can give a man a "heterosexuality test" by placing

a Victoria's Secret catalog in front of him and seeing how he reacts.
(J. failed miserably; he wouldn't put down the Economist). Anyway if
you are a lady and want to test your heterosexuality (or a man who
wants to test your homosexuality) take a tour of 2exist.com. You will
end up wondering why they call women the fair sex -- I think they got
it a--backwards.

chief, page 609 of the 1975 or '76 sears catalog was much more interesting.
(yes, well, my sister and i laughed a long time over that page.)

actually, two nights ago, i watched a university "history of the western
world" class and thought the cod pieces that fashionable men wore during the
days of yore, were much more imaginative and creative, too.LOL

30 years ago and you still remember the page number?

And all this time I thought you were such a sweet, innocent thing.
<g>

.... If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done.

***you bet! that was just too hilarious to not remember--besides, even my
sister still brings it up every now and then. you'd be amazed at the
ancient trivia of which i can recall the details, chief. it's my short term
memory that is intermittent, at best.LOL

And all this time I thought you were such a sweet, innocent thing.

***LOL! but, but, but . . . i still am a sweet and innocent thing!<grin>
