OTP:Update It wasn't the flu!

Thank God! It wasn't the flu but my 11 year old does have bacterial
Pneumonia.That is bad but the doc said he will be ok in a few days and
didn't need to be in the hospital. My 16 year old has ear infection ..I am
getting my shot today! I have had the pneumonia shot. He started out with a
headache and by Sat eve he had 103.5 then by last eve it was 104.5 and he
was wheezing. Dh and I took him to the ER and we were there from 7 pm to 3
am. We did not see a doc until 1am.

Well yes this is good news...I hope that he heals quickly...I just saw your
post this morning, so I responded to that one too...
But I hope that your son responds quickly to the meds and is good as new
quickly...Good thing it wasn't your asthmatic son....Geez...Mike can't even
get a reg cold...I can only imagine what pneumonia would do to him...but he
gets a pneumonia shot also...

glad it wasn't flu, but pneumonia is no fun either, poor kid. you've had
your hands and plate too full! ((((((((((((rhonda and family))))))))))))
ERs can be soooo exhausting. (if i compress 16 1/2 months into 12, i think
i could almost state with certainty that we spent the greater part of a year
in ER, with butch.) here's hoping everybody gets better and feels better
quickly.
