Default Pulled a stupid

Wednesday night I filled one of our 15 gallon water storage drums. That
entailed going downstairs with two one gallon jugs of water, dumping them
in, climbing back up the stairs, filling the jugs again from the faucet and
then repeat the whole transaction at least 8 times. Stupid - stupid -
stupid! I don't know what made me think I was capable of doing that. Going
down the stairs took the longest because my feet and knees hate stairs. We
actually have two drums, but before I could start on the second one, my
vision got funny, and my breathing was hard, and....well, you get the
picture. I made it back upstairs and got in the recliner and didn't move for
the next hour or so. I have finally recovered from all of that but it meant
that I missed out on my swim for Thursday morning. I was too drained to risk
driving to Newark and back by myself. Sigh. It is so darn hard being
disabled and even harder remembering that my body cannot do what it used to.
It just doesn't work right anymore. My hands and feet are still pretty
painful, but I am not sure that it's from Wednesday night or just the usual
stuff.

Sounds to me like you need to find someplace on the main level to
store your water my dear. You might also have Bob attach a hose bib
to the closest faucet and run a hose down the stairs to fill them.
That way you only make one trip and you don't carry anything.

I'm proud of you for having your emergency water supply though! Hope
you feel better soon.

((((((((((((((((DeeTee)))))))))))))))) how annoying it is when something
that our brains think is so simple turns out to be perceived by our bodies as
the Ironman Triathalon! Feel better soon.

Double what she said. I thought you were old enough to know better now,
what your limits are. We can't use up a whole week's limits on one day, no
matter how fair we may think it is. LOL

Oh DeeTee what are we going to do with you. Love you probably. ;0)

I hope you heal up quickly and the pain goes away fast. I know how this is,
activated my costo just by bringing out the hamper from Jims room to the
garage to put some laundry in. Dah. didn't think that would do it but it did
and now am paying the price for it.

DeeTee, I hope you're back to feeling good again by now. I know what you
mean about your body not being able to do what it used to do, and it is just
so hard to always remember that. That's what caused the last three
dislocations of my replaced hip. you automatically do what you did for
years without problems. BUT--
