Thankyou everyone who took the trouble to reply. I've now got a TENS
machine (seinex se-33) secondhand but good condition bu am unsure of which
settings and power levels to use. Plus does anyone know of a online natural
remedie site that sells good quality products?

***hi richard,

have your doctor send you to a physical therapist, to help you
calibrate it, to determine the correct tens settings for you and to show
you how and where to use it. that's the best way for you to gain the most
benefit from your unit.

Hi Richard,
I know what you are going through - I wished the doc would amputate.
This is what my family did so I could still work - I have PA in every
joint except for 4 vertibra - I was packed in bags of frozen peas, in
bed, for about 20 mins every morning - I could then manage to get up -
I struggled to work - I was a teacher - I found ways so I did not move
much or use the blackboard - after a 15 min drive home my hands were
stuck to the steering wheel -now that is the past thanks to wonder
drugs. What I am say - please try the frozen peas - they helped me. To
sleep, the doctor gave me pills - without them I really would never
have coped - then I found some herbal sleeping pills - they helped my
husband sleep but not me. About the tens machine - can't help you. I
bought one after going to a physio but it did not help but her
exercises it.
I think, after years of pain, you get use to it. Just hang in there.
