Is that why Tuesday evening I notices a GNC inside a Rite Aid?
Whatever happened to OWL, REXALL, and THRIFTY drug stores?

| | | Re: Drug discounts We had an Eckerds here (now a Rite Aid) that I would have to use if I needed
a medication on Saturday afternoon. I hated going there. Three pharmacists
and nobody waiting and it still took over an hour to fill it. My regular
one, which gives me free delivery the next day, will have one ready in about
fifteen minutes with two other people waiting and one pharmacist. They had
a horrible nightmare a week ago - their telephone cable was cut on a Monday
morning, their busiest time of the week (with all the call ins). It was out
for **48 hours**! Oh, yes, they did get one call out that morning to my mom
about a recall on her heart medicine. Mom was lucky, her call from her
heart doctor with a change of prescription got through before the cable was
cut! A lot of others werern't so lucky. I made a list of our refills and
took it over as soon as I realized there was something wrong with the
continuous busy signal.

Did her Digitek get recalled? Mine did. They had to fill my
prescription with Lanoxin, which cost me $8.49 as opposed to $4. But I'm
also finding that I was experiencing a lot of light headedness, which
has now stopped.

recalled. She is feeling much different on the replacement - I think it is Lanoxin, too. Scary, isn't it?

Yea. I hope they are going to reimburse us for the crap we got instead
of the proper medication. I was supposed to receive some kind of kit
from them, but it's still not here.

| | | Re: Drug discounts It took over a week for Mom to get hers. They send an envelope to mail the
left-over meds back in with a sheet to sign. You also have to include
something that shows the druggist name address, etc, and your copay. We'll
see how long it takes for the refund. I imagine there are quite few of
those "kits" to mail out. They are suppose to reimburse what you paid.

I only had two left, so I doubt they'll give me anything. They should
reimburse us for the past few months since I've been feeling very
lightheaded, and now that's gone since I've switched pharmacies and
gotten the right meds.

I just got my packet. You have to send the unused pills and your
receipt. So forget that. I never save those receipts, so cie la vie.

Yea, probably, but it was Walmart (I've since changed all my meds to
Fred Meyer). And it's not worth the $4 to go all that way just to get a
receipt.
