| | | Re: femara My wife has been taking it since last Oct. 06. No side effects (yet). But
we are always concerned as to damage to organs from any prescription drug.

| | | Re: femara I have been taking Femara - 2.5 mg daily since October 2004. Thus far no
side effects that I am aware of except maybe fatigue but don't know if
Femara is the cause or because I am 77.

Do be careful about buying offshore and especially online. There is a
massive trade in fake and degraded drugs, in some cases bigger than the
mainstream market for the drug.

| | | Re: femara In USA when I arrive at the donut hole in Medicare D drug coverage, I
purchase Femara from Canada. The last one I used was CanadaDrugs.com, where
I paid $519 for 90 pills. Later I found that CanadianPharmacyMeds.com was a
bit cheaper. I was ahead even though I did not get credit toward the
catastrophic drug coverage of Plan D.
On one website I saw that a generic was available but I do not know how
reliable the site is or what country it related to.

Yipe! That's wouldn't help me, given I'm paying $410 for 90 (if I choose to
continue; the side effects are not thrilling me)
yeah, still pretty high, but lower than $900+.
I couldn't find a reference to any generic and I'm an inveterate
researcher/reporter so....maybe I missed something. what are you buying now?

this context and what is current news. Anyone know? Greta
NEW YORK, May 3 (Reuters) - U.S. regulators have tentatively approved Mylan
Laboratories Inc.'s (MYL.N: Quote, Profile, Research) generic version of
Novartis AG's (NOVN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) Femara breast-cancer drug,
Mylan said on Thursday.
The 2.5-milligram strength of Femara, known generically as letrozole, had
U.S. sales of $326 million in 2006, Mylan said.
