| | | RADIATION My daughter was first treated with radiation, because the cancer had
spread to he bones. So they radiated those spots, she never had any
burn, but she is still so sick, vomitting, Dr, can not explain why,
unless they hit her stomach. They did MRI on her brain, no sign of it
there. |

It is possible that the stomach got too much dose, especially if they
use a large fraction (rad. dose/day) which often happens with bone mets.
Give her a strong acid blocker such as a proton pump inhibitor (eg
Pantoloc) and some Sucralfate paste (Ulcogant) to sooth the stomach and
see if it helps her.

Ah, that explains why I saw this as a blank post.
My ISP must now be suppressing non-text posts to text groups.
I imagine I am not alone in being unable to receive HTML here.

Make sure the oncologist knows how bad things are. Inability to sleep
is a critical measure of pain level, so make sure that is stressed.
Someone I knew once got this sort of vomiting problem after radiotherapy
to lumbar mets. It took her a couple of months to get back to eating
normally. But I don't think it is often that bad, and it did go away in
time.
