Default Tempur-pedic/ Tempurpedic question

Tempur-pedic/ Tempurpedic question

We are thinking of buying of Tempur pedic type matteress.

If anyone in this group is using one...
Would you pls let us know your thoughts.

Tempur pedic is quite expensive. We have heard that many companies
now have very similar products in the marketplace and at more
reasonable prices.
Can anyone who has experience / is knowledgeable about this, pls let
us know.

What brand is the best value for money ?

We need a Queen and live in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
Any particular outlet/store that has the best deals ?

Any thoughts/ suggestions/ ideas /pointers would be highly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Ayesha Hill

Dear Ayesha,

I have a tempurpedic pad; not to be confused with the matress. The
matress is quite expensive and I couldn't afford it. I have a terrible
back and went through chemo and tons of bed rest about a year ago so I
really needed something comfortible. My friend sold me her pad and it
is fantastic. I can't imagine sleeping without it.

I wouldn't buy the matress....too expensive for me. It seems you live
in the bay area. You can buy this pad at Costco for under $150. making
it much for reasonable than the whole bed. They you can see if you
really like it. If not you can probably sell it. I purchased mine from
a friend.

Good luck, Liz

I had a tempurpedic PILLOW and didn't care for it.....I've always had
various pain things (fibromyalgia, CFS, etc.) and swear by my waterbed. I've
slept on a waterbed since I was 18. I adore it. It's a cradle and a harbor
and.....wonderful. My son has slept on a waterbed too, since he was 3.
