I have had 9 surgeries for the placement and removal of ruptured
silicone breast implants after being one of the first 200 women having
them put in immediately after a double mastectomy in 1975.
I feel that I am somewhat of an expert on this subject as I have
devoted my life since 1975 to studying the effects of silicone on the
body and in the muscles and organs and how to rid the body of
silicone. In 1992 I was coughing up sparkling spit. I knew it was
silicone. I had my last breast implant removal in 1992. I was tested
for Platinum last June by Dr. Lykissa. He tested my urine and fresh
mucus from my lungs and throat in parts per billion. In my urine I
tested .54, in my fresh mucus (and remember this is 14 years after the
last explant) I tested 1.1 parts per billion. I believe that is one
billion one hundred million parts of platinum are in a large drop of
my fresh mucus.
I have seen the crystals in my blood after having my teeth extracted.
I am pulling hunks of silicone out of my throat in the mornings and
saving them to show someone! The manufacturers HAVE NOT PROVEN
SILICONE IS SAFE AND DOES NO HARM!!! A conflict of interest is
involved in every study they have published. You don't HONESTLY expect
them to tell you the harm caused by silicone in the human body and
take away all the confidence their stockholders have in their ability
to make decisions. Money is the bottom line, people kill for it and
companies, hospitals, drug manufacturers want and lie for it. This is
not about a 'CHOICE', this is about putting in the same silicone that
was used to make the polyurethane covered implants in the 1980's that
NO ONE told us was going to harm us yet they were pulled from the
market under closed cover and without any contact to the patients by
the implanting doctors that they were being taken out of circulation.
Who decided back then NOT to tell the women they had poison in their
chests next to their lungs, hearts, esophagus, and reproductive
system, livers, gall bladders, and did you know that it could migrate
UP??? to the brain? sinuses, eyes and ears?
We need the FDA's help!!!! Our doctors are still laughing at us, we
are still killing ourselves because of the pain and humiliation of
these NEW diseases that we ALL have, yet studies funded by Dow and
Mentor keep telling EVERYONE including our husbands and children and
mothers and fathers that we are just crazy money hungry women and that
silicone does not hurt the immune system or the body in any way. It is
not alright to go on with this. It should not even be an issue!!! Look
at the MDL web page and see who is lying and who is telling the truth.
The MDL and Judge Pointer was a joke! The MDL which was supposed to be
a fair neutral environment was and IS fully funded by the plastic
surgeons in our country. Nothing was FAIR about any of the issues the
MDL was entrusted with, including diseases that the manufacturers
decided together to pay for. Now 14 years later Dow is going to get
away with the same thing because our COUNTRY and GOVERNMENT has NOT
helped it's PEOPLE! God Bless the new administration at the FDA and
our lawmakers and peacekeepers, and I pray that the wrath of GOD will
come down on all who turned their backs on the women, men and children
in this world who were harmed by this product and no one lifted a hand
or a voice to help. In conclusion I would like to say THERE IS NO WAY
TO REMOVE SILICONE OR PLATINUM FROM THE HUMAN BODY. I KNOW THIS AFTER
TRYING FOR 34 YEARS and hundreds of thousands of dollars and prayers
of trying to rid my body of this substance and consequently, the
diseases it causes.
