Any implant recipients out there??

I'm functionally at the end of the road - have extensively tried every
legitimate treatment for several years now (following a stroke with
neuro damage). V, C, and L were effective for a couple of years, but
gradually stopped working; I never had any luck with Muse, and
injectables (Edex, Caverject, and trimix, either alone or stacked with
an oral) have not worked at all. Three urologists and my internist all
agree that only remaining alternative is an implant, and all are
recommending the surgery while downplaying the trauma of the surgery
and recovery.

I realize that an implant is irreversible, but since I have no chance
of functioning normally that is not of any concern.


Are there any implant recipients out there who have been through this
who can tell me if the results are worth the surgery and recovery
period, or if I should just forget about a sex life and take up
shuffleboard instead?

There are many ways to have sex without intercourse. The REAL dilemma is
INTERCOURSE vs implant.

We have (I think two guys) with implants but I don't have their email addies
and they don't come out here on a regular basis. I think Steve will direct
you, so hang tight . It costs a fortune!

Junior's was in 2003. Emerald is the wife of a penal implant recipient.
Dale had a botched implant. I don't remember George's, but with his
address, he'd have to be a lurker to do you much good.

Had just come back from a 1500 trip (up to Sault Ste Marie, Michigan and
back). I think, last night, I would have had a hard time coming up with the
correct spelling after your challenge.

But, in the case of Dale's, I think we can agree it was penal.
