| | | Following up... Well, I canceled my appointment with the uro who did the operation. I don't
trust him, so I will be looking for a new urologist soon. In the meanwhile
I will see my GP and get a general purpose lookover and PSA test.
Do any of you know of good urologists in the Minneapolis / St Paul area? I
will want one with expertise in ED. Seems the nerves are a bit more
frazzled than expected. God and time will heal, but let's get a good doctor
involved. )
Thanks much and God Bless you all,

I'm not sure of the geography in the Frozen North (I'm in Arizona), but
here is a couple of names in Rochester that might be helpful:
James Dugan
Mayo Clinic
200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905
507-284-1330
Horst Zincke
Mayo Clinic
200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905
507-284-1330
Note that they are listed on the site of the Prostate Cancer Research
Institute at http://prostate-cancer.org/resource/special.html
Good hunting. Would that more men would resist the urge to be
intimidated by medics, and fire when necessary.
Regards,
Steve J

Paul would be known as a "snowbird" and is most welcome.

| | | Re: Following up... Hello Steve,
Sorry, I don't know anything about your needs re. uro in Minn. I too have
some "frazzled nerves after my LRRP in mid Oct. I am trying to come to grips
with my new reality. (Pun intended ;-) ) How much time has transpired
between your procedure and what works/ not worked for you?
I am not that successful with Viagra and would like to know of alternatives
or adjuncts to that therapy. I recently read info that on some statins
(Lipitor) may boost the nitric Oxide part of the erectile equation. I also
see information about l argeintine(sp?) and yohimbe.
If you have any hints for me I would appreciate them. I will forward more
specifics if you think they may be helpful for you.
Thanks,
Peter

I have tried Viagra, Muse, and Viagra and Muse. There is some effect but
nothing to write home about. Not at all satisfactory.
Some time in February I will settle on a new uro and see what develops.
God Bless,
