HIFU update video
While checking on some early replies to my post of yesterday I came
across a video showing the latest HIFU at work. The Prof doing the
demo is the guy wot dun me at UCHL - then a mere consultant. I like
the way the BBC (if it's in print, or on the BBC, it must be true!)
says this is a pioneering treatment. I was 'pioneered' on as I've
reported in 2006.
The latest development only takes out the cancerous element of the
prostate. I had my whole prostate ablated. Yet my S/E's have even so
proved minimal. (Mind you, if I'd seen the size of the machine they
were going to stuff up my rectum I might have beat a hasty retreat
from volunteering!)
Regards and best wishes to all

Hi, MikeHi. Good to hear from you again. I saw you posted a couple of days
ago. My new reader wiped 'em out when I logged off.
I'll find them, but in the mean time wanted to say hi.
