Incontinence Surgery

I'm scheduled to have the sphincter implant a week from Tuesday, but I
flunked my EKG test. I'm going to see the heart specialist for further
evaluation.
However, the nurse at preop testing said something about collagen
injections for incontinence. I'm assuming that this would not be a
permanent solution, but it would be better than nothing if I can't
have the implant surgery. Does anyone know anything about this?

Collagen is temporary, not regarded as optimal therapy. I had an MI
just a few weeks after the AMS 800 implant. Sugeries like that (and my
prior bladder neck resections (2), and RRP, take a lot out of you). The
800 is great.
