Default Luciano OT

I mourn today. I first heard him as an adult. I was working in a
customers home and she was playing his records. I was moved to tears. Until
then my musical taste was mostly stuck in oldies & rock n roll. My friends
and family were shocked when I became an opera fan, but more so a Pavarotti
fan. It even made me learn some Italian. His voice was for the ages. Rest
well maestro...

I understand that it was cancer of the pancreas, a terrible disease.

"His voice was for the ages." Yes indeed.

Thank you.

Pancreatic cancer, Steve. See the article on our Toronto CTV
station.....

My mother died of it and I was surprised to see she and Pavarotti had
the same birthday.

There's nothing like listening to his voice soaring over the chorus in
"Nessun Dorma."
