Here is a letter I recieved from Nicola Davies.
I would believe that the questionnaire is truthful, and will help advance
her education:
Hi John,
Thank you contacting me regarding my questionnaires; I really appreciate it.
I do understand that your responses to the questionnaires, if you choose to
complete them, are your personal accounts. I will treat them as such. Your
name will not be used in any of my write ups. Also, I have a password
protected laptop for my research, as supplied to me by my Uni (Cranfield Uni
in the UK). Your answers will be safe with me, John.
In regards to my direction, I am hoping that by the end of this I will be
able to train as a Health Psychologist, working in many different areas of
quality of life. I also have a huge interest in writing and hope to write
many articles that will help raise awareness of important issues to me, such
as cancer.
I have attached the questionnaires for you to look at. One examines the way
you evaluate your health and the other at your quality of life. If you are
happy to complete them, please remember to save completed questionnaires
before sending them back. Also, if you have any questions at all, just let
me know.
Thanks again, John; this will be a huge help to me. If you have any further
questions about my research, please don't hesitate to ask; I will be more
than happy to answer any questions you have.
Best Wishes,
Nicola
