Well, I also have to add that I am considerably younger -- by 12 years.

Tomorrow(tues. 7/22) will be three weeks since Kevin finished his
radiation treatments. Early last week Kevin was more fatigued then he
had been and we just figured it was work, headaches caused by weather
etc. This past weekend his energy returned and he seemed more like he
was before PCa struck.

This morning a light bulb turned on in my head and I had to go back and
find this post from Heather. It was just one day short of two weeks when
the fatigue hit and a few days later that it went away.

Heather, thank you for telling me about this!!

Hi Sue......you are most welcome. Sometimes it is the crazy little
things that they forget to warn you about. Amazed me when the fatigue
hit him exactly on the 14th day, grin. He had been a bit tired before
but this was *knee-buckling* in the heat of Quebec City. (holiday)

Good luck.....and yes, I get migraines from barometric pressure. Last
week I had a couple.

Cheers....Heather

His headaches have been so much better since he switch from Trelstar to
Lupron, so it was strange that they suddenly got worse. At the time
neither of us realized that the headaches getting worse were because of
the "14th day" fatigue hit.

August 6th is when we get the results of his first PSA and soon after
that I will post an update.

Hope all is going well for you and Ron.

Thanks Sue.....we go for a 3 month PSA in late August and I hope it
isn't still on that slow rise. He has been off hormone therapy for 18
months or more. He feels good, but we want to see it stop creeping up.

You (and others) have made me realize that if he should have to go back
on HT, then we will try other than Zoladex. His first one was
Suprefact, and I am not sure if you have it down there. But the side
effects didn't hit for 7 months or more, which does make me wonder if
switching to Zoladex brought them on faster.

Best.....Heather

And looking forward to good results for both of the boys.....fingers and
toes crossed. (G)

I never heard of Suprefact, but I really only know about the ones Kevin
has been on. About the only thing I do know is that Kevin "seems" to be
doing ok with the Lupron, his only problem is the night sweats but he
doesn't find that a problem. Of course he has only been on hormones
since March 4th and with everything else it is hard to say what causes what.

August is a big month for both of us and I hope we get good news!!
