Default OT--Motzarella Problems

x-no-archive: yes

Is anyone else having problems logging on and/or sending messages to
groups via Motzarella? I'm getting the message "The TCP/IP connection
was unexpectedly terminated by the server".

Is this a problem with Motzarella or with Roadrunner?

I just saw that someone else was having the same problem on their help
grooup, unless it was you that posted it.

Under the Motzarella News Groups, find the news group
"motzarella.newusers" and ask there. Ray and Dave are quite helpful. I
was having a problem downloading and it seems that Outlook Express will
only download 4 ng/s properly.

Heather (hmmm, had a problem posting this, so switched to another
server)

Oh hell.....sorry about that, but just saw on the Motzarella New Users
group that they are having some server troubles, I believe. Could that
be due to so many new subscribers from the ISP's in the US that are
dropping Usenet?? Probably.

Ray is looking into this and it should be sorted out. I have to warn
you that from time to time there is a glitch or two. But I am sure you
got that with your ISP's Usenet service. I know I did. Patience is a
virtue.......so is having more than one freebie news server (G).

Cheers....Heather

I am having no problems using Motzarella over RoadRunner. However, I note
your message just showed up, out of chronological order, though it was sent
two hours ago.

Considering everything you post is coming twice, I suspect you too are
having problems with Motzarella

Maybe it's because...

"Patience is a
virtue.......so is having more than one freebie news server (G)."

Yes, I've been getting an error this morning that indicated the server was
getting a little slammed. Everybody jumping ship from the ISP's, I guess.
Did get through to the server a little while ago.

According to "da boys", it is because I am using Outlook Express. I
totally disagree, as usual. However, I have WAY TOO MANY inbox and sent
messages which will screw up OE. Over 800 in each one, so will weed
them out.

Never, never do that, children. The MS boys would give me hell!! (G)

Off to do some more stuff and will get back here later.

OH......HAPPY CANADA DAY TOMORROW!!!!! Be sure and wear red and white,
OK??
