Spring 2006, my doctor put me on a statin that caused several
side effects - difficulty breathing, itching, aching joints.

I stopped and the problems cleared up.

I mentioned this to a Naval medical doctor in our square
dance club and she said, "Beware of any statin drugs."

She (my doctor) then put me on Zetia for 1-1/2 years, but
took me off this week.

I'm waiting for a replacement prescription at the moment.
