    Default PCa Deaths by Country

My US TOO group's newsletter has an interesting table on the number of
Breast Cancer (BCa) and PCa deaths per 100,000 in 50 countries.

    http://pcngcincinnati.org/2006/2006_10.htm

US is 28th in PCa, CA 25th, AU is 22nd and UK is 21st. It's so nice to be
    average.

US, CA, AU and UK do worse with BCa at 18th, 11th, 22nd, and 6th!
    (respectively).

There are other interesting (an probably useless) facts. Uganda is the
worst for PCa, yet one of the best 17 in BCa. Other countries you don't
want to vacation in if you have PCa are Norway, Sweden, Cuba, and Zimbabwe,
as they round out the worst five.

If you have breasts, don't go to Denmark, The Netherlands, Ireland, Hungary
    or New Zealand.

United Sates, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom. The only state data I
have is Ohio and it's the same as the U.S. I guess I overdid it with the
    abreviations.

I'm doing what I can, John, but I'm pragmatic enough to know that it's the
work of others that will make or break me in the in end. I walk, take the
currently accepted supplements, and take whatever medications good people
have developed for us. And, I try to stay up with the treatments in the
offing. In the end, I think people will agree I didn't give in easily.

Thanks. And thank you for sticking around to help those of us that didnt't
draw as good a hand as you. You do a whole lot of reading for someone who,
every year, seems to have less need for our support. I want you to know
that I (and I think we) appreciate yours.

All these figures have to be read with more than a grain of salt. First
of all, if men generally don't live as long, they are less likely to die
of prostate cancer. In addition, the cause of death is not necessarily
reported with equal accuracy in different countries. I do think the
signficantly lower death rates for prostate cancer in Asian countries
like Japan with high standards of living and good medical care do
    represent significant diffrences.

I concur. I almost added "weekend humor" to the Subject line. I consider
the "infant mortality rate" to be similarly, and maybe even more
    exaggeratedly, flawed.
