This weekend my wife is helping at the local AKC Relay For Life.
Ellen was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago. For the past
five years I've done the most number of laps of anyone who
participated in our town. My best was 260 laps. Probably won't
match that this year due to injuries. It's essentially an all-night
party. Tents are put up on the grass inside the high school track.
Bands play most of the night. Free food is donated by McDonalds and
Pizza Hut. Plus many bring goodies such as cookies, tortillas, etc.
