I hope it descends further to a castrate <20 ng/dL.

Well done!

I seem to remember the T conversion ratio from ISO to US was ~28.8

So my T's about 14.0 (ISO), which would make me about 400 US.

Standard assay with a result of <0.10. I did not post the number because I
didn't want to muddle the issue of seven "less than" scores with clinical
definitions of "undetectable." I should have known you'd catch me. :-)

Since starting ADT2 during July 2006, Quest labs have used multiple assays
and reported my PSAs as <0.04, <0.0 5, <0.04, <0.04, <0.10, <0.04, and now
<0.10. I get the feeling that when a specific assay is not requested, they
pull out whatever they have in the box closest to them.

As you know, when using multiple assays, the "less than" symbol is the key
element. Also as you know, I am not convinced it does anyone any good to
know what is going on in the static below one-tenth of a nanogram (millionth
of a gram). I am content with my scores, which indicate the little bastards
have been killed and/or kept dormant from July 2006 to at least February
2010 when I get my next PSA test.

: > T is 60 (down from 67 a year ago)
:
: I hope it descends further to a castrate <20 ng/dL.

Yes, that would be nice, but based on my PSAs during 2006, I suspect my T
went up during three years of ADT1 and that prompted the need for ADT2. I
am surprised that my T went down this year considering I first started
Lupron in July 2003. But, then, I do not pretend to know all the
physiological and pharmacological details of testosterone, Lupron, or
Casodex. I welcome any facts and opinions.

I guess it's time to repeat my pharmaceutical and nuetraceutical intake:

Generic / Ingredients
Daily unless indicated

Alendronate Sodium
70 mg / wk

Bicalumide
50 mg

Calcium
210 mg

Capsicum frutescens
100,000 to 200,000 SHU

Green Tea Extract (Camellia sinensis)
2000 mg

Leuprolide acetate
30 mg / 4 mos

Lycopene
10 mg

Natural Fish Oil Concentrate EPA and DHA
1000 mg

Selenium
105 mcg

Vitamin C (Absorbic Acid)
1000 mg

Vitamin D
400 IU

Vitamin D-3
2000 IU

Vitamin E (d-alpha Tocopherol)
333 IU

Evil Steve,

I note a recent PSA of 6 in your signature. Was that May 15? Or earlier
this month?

Been off all ADT for years now. Had initial PSA 'bounce' to about 0.24
and T was lower. (you have the data LOL)

My point is that for a 73 year old man (and 11 months) not on ADT, a 14 (403
US) T level is pretty damned good. Of course, I don't know how that stacks
up against the typical Aussie. ;-)
