Thank you for this link. It brought back memories (not very pleasant
ones). I guess I'm not the only person who has had tongue cancer
un/mis-diagnosed.

Unlike the subject of the article, my ability to taste sweet was the
last to come back and it's still impaired by cold. I can only taste the
first bite of ice cream, after that it just feels good.

There are days when the ability to taste sweet just isn't there. I guess
that's how I stay so slender :-)
