    Default CSM finishes Bike MS

I posted a msg about this hours ago, and it hasn't shown up. Is
Google Groups broken again, or still?

Your message is out there. I am sure you are now watching the Tour de
France. I am. Seems to bring me closer to my late (Rectal Cancer - 3
1/2 year fight) husband. He, also, had those great legs! He enjoyed
the sport and since he grew up in the Alps, the mountains were a part
    of his life.

Proud of you. Keep up the good work and attitude..

Sorry to disappoint you, but I never could seem to get interested in
watching the pros. I know they're way better at bicycling than I am,
but I'd still much rather get on a bicycle myself than watch them ride
one. I keep seeing stuff about the Tour, but haven't watched any of
it and don't even bother reading the articles. I don't know how to
say clearly enough how I wish you had your husband back, and could
watch (or join) him riding instead of watching the Tour. Every time I
read about someone in our club losing the fight, it hits me hard, even
if it's one I already knew about. I'm glad I was the patient, and not
my wife. It was hard enough losing a friend to cancer; I can only
imagine the pain of losing my wife.

FWIW, after the big MS ride, I took some time away from the bicycle,
and for the last few days have been riding the big bike. I'm
approaching two thousand miles motorcycling on this trip, and probably
have more than two thousand left. That big soft seat sure is easier
to sit on, and the twist of the wrist is so much easier than pounding
    the pedals.

Thanks. I'm glad I can help someone else, and brighten a day or two.
This group has been getting so quiet lately, it makes me worry that
we've lost one or two more. I just hope people have only become too
discouraged, and that they're out there somewhere. I almost feel like
asking for a roll call, but the last time I did that the response was
a bit tepid. I think the spammers and kooks have been too much for
    most of the asc regulars.
