Default Five Years and Counting.

Five years ago ( May 29,2003) My cancer was found on an x-ray and soon biopsied,
and identified as SCLC.

Then the fun began

Brain MRI Jan 7, 2005
NED Jan 10, 2005
Still clean May 29 2008.

I can't say enough good things about my medical and support teams.

The Doc's in Denver who found the cancer and the Doc's here in Monterey who
picked up the ball and ran with it.

My friends and family who held my hand while I felt that I would have to get
better just to die. Especially The Lovely Barbara who slogged through this with
me. Thank you folks. I literally couldn't have done it without you.

The folks here on a.s.c. have become my extended family. Blessings to all of
you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, each and every one of you.

These are the posts I really like to see. Five years---time to throw
a *big* celebration. Keep in touch with that NED guy; he's a very
popular guy around here, like Norm in Cheers. Every time he shows up,
people want to shout in welcome.
I didn't realize you'd been treated in Denver (or I'd forgotten). Was
it through the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers?
Keep celebrating, year after year. We in asc will keep raising
glasses (or contacts for some) to you for it.
