I do not wish to comment on the accuracy of this report,or on the
efficacy (or lack of it) of Essiac, but your link takes us to a
website purporting to be Cancer Research UK.
I can tell you that this is not Cancer Research UK official website.
A search of the CRU site on this case drew a blank, and their views on
Essiac are not the same as those espoused here.

To say the least the link is misleading and should be read with caution.

Here is a link to what Cancer Research Uk has to say about Essiac.

I am sure you are well-intentioned in posting your message on
alt.support.cancer
but claims of this kind should be carefully checked before being published.
You only damage your own credibility by not doing so if they turn out
to be dubious.

Best wishes,

Old Bill

Smart people will ignore his webpage and plonk (filter him).
He's been spamming his make-money web pages for quite a while, on various
newsgroups.

http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/de...asp?page=24499
"Essiac is claimed to be a miracle cure for cancer. There have been reports
over the years of cancers completely disappearing after taking Essiac. But in
many cases, it turned out that either the diagnosis was wrong in the first
place, or that conventional cancer treatment was more likely to have been the
reason for the 'cure'. There is no scientific evidence to show that Essiac can
treat, prevent or cure cancer or any other serious illness in humans."

The same applies to you; spouting off about Gerson and/or Vitamin c.
