There's a way in Outlook Express to block poster's posts
The short way, when you see a "Sherry" post is, while viewing his post.
With Outlook Express and possibly Outlook, select the post, click on
'message' between 'tools' and 'help' at the top of OE. then click on
"block sender" Then you'll never see his posts here again.
He has a useless "make money" webpage. (wants people to click on the ads on
it).
The longer way is to copy and paste his email address into a "message rule"
Menus -> Tools -> Message Rules -> News
If there's no "rule" defined there, create one
Click on New and you will see four boxes
Select conditions for your rule
The ones of most use for killfiles are:
Where the From: line contains people <copy
sherrybove@gmail.com into it )
Where the Subject: line contains specific words
Where the number of lines is more than lines
Select Actions for your rule
The ones useful for killfiles are:
Delete it
Mark it as read
Select one or the other.
Then Apply, then OK.
After one rule has been created, for this newsgroup, you should be able to
use the shortcut, for any problem posters, from now on. (I'm guessing,
because I don't use Outlook Express)
