Default I am not donating to American Cancer Society ever again

These days I keep receiving calls in my home from the American Cancer
Society, (866)897-2980, (800)331-5935, asking for charity donation. I
told them "no" because I have issues with them. A few years ago I did
donate a used car (about $2500 value), cash ($1500), frequent fly
miles (50,000 mileage), all to American Cancer Society. But I never
received any acknowledgement or any thank-you note. Is it because my
donation was too small? Or they wanted to use every penny for
"research"? Well, not every penny should be saved in this way. Unless
they dig out my previous donation records and make up the appreciation
letters to me, I am not going to donate to American Cancer Society
again. By the way, I also suggested to them that they should send out
newsletters on a regular basis on the advancement of the cancer
research (in the form of physical paper, addressed to the donors, not
of generic news report in electronic form on any website). After all,
we all want to benefit from the cancer research for the donation. But
nobody there replied my mail.

Did they send you instructions and forms to fill out?
Mine had several "thank you"'s in the letter.

Call and ask if there's an annual report:
On how the money's spent and what's been accomplished.
Phone number's probably on their web page.
