I think this should be reported, there are enough nut cases out there
that could take this seriously, and Barbara may not be the person
posting! Anyone living there from this newsgroup should report this.

mentioned here (archived search results on the address) that's been going on for
many years...

I don't think any of us can understand the motivations of such people other
than "getting attention," "exhibiting sadistic cruelty," "expressing their
mental illness or profound sociopathy." In rare cases actual criminal intent
or taking revenge on someone.

I used to do volunteer work at the San Francisco Suicide Prevention Center;
a large percentage of incoming calls... at night ... were male masturbators
who, unless they were gay, would hang up if a male volunteer answered the
phone : they would then, particularly if they got a naive young volunteer
on the phone, tell some fantastic story about an elaborate and ready-to-go
suicide plan, finally leading around to introducing sex into the story,
unless their heavy breathing had already given away what they were up to.

Who can understand this ? Who can understand Jack the Ripper, or Ted Bundy.

Is not following your victims onto support groups for the bullied, and
promising to piss in their graves, then following one, when he's told he
has a cancer, onto alt.support.cancer and taking the piss, going too far?
