| | | Kili's surgery is Tuesday Just found this in the cat group:
Surgery is Tuesday, pre-op bloodwork and such is Monday, so we leave on
Sunday. I'm *so* not looking forward to this. Ack.

After all this worrying and busting your butt, you say Ack?
You will do just fine, it isn't like they were asking you to help
with the surgery. You go Girl!!
The only time you need to concern yourself is when you hear the Doc say
Oops!!
Prayers are with you.

Gosh, am I glad I think she's on her way or there and won't see it when she
comes back.
She has a sense of humor but also high anxiety about this surgery.
My friend marked an arrow or "cut here" before surgery, and apparently
everyone (nurses/doctor before surgery) thought it was funny, but I got my
fingers slapped by one person here for mentioning it (causes more work to
clean it up) so I didn't suggest it to Kili.

I made the surgeon mark my right knee when I was waiting to go in to have it
replaced.

Might not be a bad idea. I have heard of some errors..

asked by the surgeon to mark the area. It helps to reduce errors.

Since I am capable of reading all the news on botched surgeries I wasn't
taking any chances. |

I already checked. Hope it all works out. I have always refused the Morphine
since I found out it seemed to slow down the time spent in Recovery. Never
regreted it one bit. But I have a screwy pain threshold. |

I tried to get the anesthesiologist to tattoo "Property of US GOV" on Rob's
right cheek when they were going to put him under. He said only if he could
tattoo "Prime Beef" on Rob's left cheek. I gave permission, but they never
did do it...

I thought it was supposed to be a W on each cheek so when they bend over
they was WOW!
