Some of his words moved me, challenged me, and I'm still thinking about them
today in terms of my personal struggle with cancer (a struggle which is
minor compared to the struggles of many other people in this forum now) :
the distinction he makes between "surviving cancer" and "thriving after
cancer" has meaning for me, and highlights, for me, the growing
feeling/awareness that I am still focused on just "getting back" to a
previous level of creature comfort, health, and energy : in many ways I've
"hibernated" on what you might call "higher level aspirations."
