Default Lower lower back

What's going on with me??? I've got this swollen area in my right
buttock that is causing me excruciating pain. I cannot get up without
a walker and help from my wife. Went to the ER it was so bad. My fam
doc suspected a sebaceous cyst. Huh.. yeah, this aint no cyst. It
feels like there's something buried deep inside my muscle resting
right on the bone. My wife says she can even see it as a lump.

Got a bone scan scheduled for tomorrow. That may clear this mystery
up.

In the meanwhile, getting up and down is a real problem. I'm worried
that it's somehow related to the cancer extending down into my lower
cocyxx exerting pressure on my spinal nerve. I hate to think the worse
but might this be how cancer patients begin to lose the ability to
walk?

Am I whining?

No, you're not whining, Joe.
Let us know. Please get to a radiation oncologist to see if your situation
can be improved.

You are not whining and I hope you get some answers. A tumor on your spinal
cord is how patients stop walking the scan will give you answers. Alex
