Default Marking the Anniversary

Went for my check up with the ENT today. Everything looks good.

I asked my ENT when I could say I had survived a year and he said I had
to mark it from the end of the Radiation Therapy. I thought I would mark
it from the resection of my tongue.

What milestone do others here use to mark the anniversary of their cancer?
Janet

For what it's worth, I start counting a few weeks after the last RT session (a
month if chemo was involved, which wasn't in your situation). It's the
(hopefully) start of on the healing road.
To me, that (seems like) a good date to celebrate.
